According to AFP report, Israel has ordered on loudspeaker to evacuate Al-Shifa hospital in the next one hour. The hospital director, Mohammed Abu Salmiya, was instructed to ensure the evacuation of patients, injured, displaced persons and medical staff and they should proceed on foot to the beach, he said. The United Nations estimated that 2,300 patients, staff and displaced Palestinians were staying in Al-Shifa.
In a statement, Israel also asked Palestinians to leave the north of Gaza for their own safety as deadly airstrikes continued in the middle and south of the territory. Israel said about 1,200 people, most of them civilians, were killed and about 240 taken hostage. So far, about 12,000 people, including 5,000 children, have been killed in Gaza.
