Saturday Remedy:In Hinduism, all seven days of the week are dedicated to some deity or the other. Saturday is dedicated to Shanidev. On this day Shanidev is worshiped with rituals. Worshiping Shanidev gives special results. It is said that by taking some special measures on Saturday, the closed doors of a person’s luck open. If a person has Shanidosh in his horoscope or he is facing any problem related to Saturn, then doing this remedy also provides relief. This remedy on Saturday awakens the sleeping luck of the person.
According to astrology, doing some measures on Saturday can change a person’s luck. It is believed that worshiping Peepala tree on Saturday brings auspicious results. Shanidev is pleased by observing fast on Saturday and lighting a lamp under the Pipla tree in the evening.
If the position of Saturn in a person’s horoscope is not favorable or Panoti or Sade Sati is going on, then chant Shani Beej Mantra 108 times on Saturday. By doing this one gets the blessings of Shani Dev and gets freedom from Shanidosh.
Along with worshiping Shanidev on Saturday, feeding bread to crows and black dogs is also considered auspicious. It is believed that seeing a black dog on Saturday is an auspicious sign. Donation on Saturday also has special significance. On this day, things like black umbrella, blanket, urad dal can be donated to any poor or needy person. By donating as much as possible on Saturday, Shanidev is pleased and fulfills the wishes of the devotees.
Reciting Shani Raksha Stotra on Saturday is also considered fruitful. Reciting Shani Raksha Swara on Saturday provides relief from Shanidosh.
