Bhopal . A worship program of Mata Jagatdatri is being organized at Ramakrishna Mission Ashram located in MP Nagar Press Complex from November 20, which will last for three days. Saint Swami Nitya Gyananand of the ashram told that after the number aarti on the first day, nomination and residence of the goddess will be done.
Saptami Puja, Chandi Path, Devi Bhog and Aarti will be performed on 21st November from 6.30 am. This event will last throughout the day. The program will conclude with Mangala Aarti at 5:30 am on 22nd November. The worship of Mother Jagatdatri has special significance in Bengal. It is believed that Mother Goddess destroys evil and gives happiness and peace to the devotees. This festival is celebrated like Durga Puja on the Ashtami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month.
