Minister in-charge Uttarkashi Dr. Premchand Aggarwal performed aarti of Mother Ganga and prayed for the safe exit of 41 workers trapped in the Silkyara Tunnel (Uttarkashi Tunnel Accident) of Uttarkashi. On Saturday, in the evening Ganga Aarti of Triveni Ghat, Minister Dr. Premchand Aggarwal performed the Aarti of Mother Ganga for the safe exit of the workers trapped in the Silkyara Tunnel. He (Premchand Agarwal) said that the Silkyara tunnel rescue work is going on war footing. Under the guidance of PMO, the state government is making efforts to safely rescue all the workers trapped in the tunnel. Said that the help of modern technology invented in the country and the world is being taken for the rescue of people trapped in the tunnel. Hopefully it will be successful soon.
Dr. Aggarwal (Premchand Aggarwal) said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami (CM Dhami) is taking moment by moment updates on the rescue of workers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel. Told that instructions have been given by the CM to take every necessary step to deal with the obstacles being faced in the rescue operation.
Dr. Aggarwal said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also constantly taking updates on the rescue operation. Said that the priority of the government is to evacuate the workers safely and on time.
Dr. Aggarwal (Premchand Aggarwal) said that the government stands with the families of the workers in trouble. Officials were instructed to keep all the family members informed about the rescue at every moment. Apart from this, help centers should also be opened for the families who have reached Silkyara and help should be provided as per their living and food needs. He said that in this time of crisis, the family members need to remain patient. The government stands with them all the time.
