In Orai, an uncle killed his nephew by hacking him with a shovel on suspicion of having illicit relations with his wife. When the daughter of the accused saw him committing the crime, she raised an alarm, due to which the accused ran away from the spot. The police reached the information and registered a case based on the complaint of the daughter of the accused and searched for him.
Sunil Kushwaha, resident of Daulatpur in Auraiya district, had come to his maternal uncle Bir Singh resident of Kuan Kheda police station Kadaura. Late at around 11 pm, Sunil and Veer Singh lay down on the cot outside the house and the rest of the family slept inside the house. At around 12 o’clock in the night, Sunil was heard screaming.
When the elder daughter jumped over the wall and came out, she saw her father hitting Sunil with a shovel. When he raised an alarm, the father ran away. This was immediately informed to the police in the night itself. Police brought bleeding Sunil to CHC, where doctors declared him dead.
