Bhavish Aggarwal has been an IIT student. He has done B.Tech. It was the year 2010, when he was going for some work by cab, the cab driver asked him for higher fare. But Bhavish Aggarwal did not forget this thing here, he thought that while I am struggling with this problem, there would be crores of such customers in India who would be struggling with this problem every day. Why not set up your own cab company? He told this idea to his friend Ankit Bhati and also told about it to his family members. The family members said that you are an IIT student and doing such a small business is not right. But Bhavish had something else in mind. The business is fine, this small matter never occurred to him. It was the year 2010 when Bhavesh Aggarwal formed the company along with his friend Ankit Bhati.
Funding has never been a problem
The idea was there, the support was there, now all that was needed was money. Bhavish started presenting his idea to investors and within a short time he got a loan of Rs 32 thousand crore from investors in 26 rounds. In which Anupam Mittal of Shark Tank was also included. The idea was good so there was never any problem in funding.
