MP Election Voting: Voting took place on Friday amid violence during the assembly elections in Tezzbuzz. Till 5 pm, 71.16% voting took place in the state. Although the final figures have not come, but according to the Election Commission’s app, more than 76 percent voting has taken place. Grandson Raja, a supporter of Congress candidate Vikram Singh, was murdered in Rajnagar of Chhatarpur. At the same time, firing took place at a polling booth in Dimani assembly constituency of Morena.

More than 85 percent voting in Naxal affected Balaghat district

Voting is being held for 230 assembly seats in the state on Friday. Queues of voters started appearing at polling stations since morning, voting started at 7 am and by 5 pm, 71.16% voting was recorded in the state. However, the final figures have not been released yet. But the figures that have come out so far are the highest in the last four elections.

On an average, 66 percent voting took place on all seven seats of the capital Bhopal, while on an average, more than 73 percent voting took place on nine seats of the financial capital Indore. The surprising thing is that more than 85 percent voting took place in Naxal affected Balaghat district. Earlier, 60.52 percent voting took place till 3 o’clock, 45.40 percent till 1 o’clock and 28.18 percent till 11 o’clock.

Violence occurred in Chhatarpur and Morena during voting

During this period, there was news of violence at two places, Chhatarpur and Morena. There were reports of fighting and clashes between workers at other places also. Administratively no one is ready to confirm. According to the information received, Salman Khan, a supporter of Congress candidate Vikram Singh Nati Raja, has been murdered in Rajnagar assembly constituency of Chhatarpur district.

It is even being alleged that he was crushed by a vehicle. Congress MLA and candidate Nati Raja has accused BJP workers. At present the situation in Rajnagar is tense. Here the candidates of Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party are demanding strict action against the police.

People showed enthusiasm about voting

On the other hand, firing took place at a polling booth in Dimani assembly constituency of Morena. Stone pelting also took place here. Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar is the BJP candidate from this assembly constituency. Apart from this, as a precautionary measure, the police have kept the candidates and their supporters under surveillance at some places. Overall, voting was peaceful in most parts of the state.

In the first two hours, 11.55 percent voters had voted in the state, while by 1 pm this percentage increased to 45.40 percent, while long queues were seen at many polling stations.
