News Desk: A big news is coming from Rajkot, Gujarat. According to the latest report, more than 10 thousand passengers were caught traveling without tickets in Rajkot division on Diwali. Heavy fines have also been imposed on these passengers by the Railways.
According to the news, ticket checking campaign was conducted by Railways at different stations of Rajkot division. During this campaign, 10,252 people were caught without tickets in Rajkot Railway Division and a fine of Rs 79.45 lakh was imposed on them.
Let us tell you that during the ticket checking campaign, RPF-GRP personnel were deployed by the Railways at all the entry-exit gates and platforms. Simultaneously, a ticket checking campaign was conducted at the station, in which a large number of passengers were caught without tickets.
