MG Hector Facelift Diesel: The Hector has been a big hit for MG with its new facelift update and is the company’s best-selling car. The Hector is very popular in the petrol market, while it also has a diesel option and may be a better fit for those who need an affordable SUV compared to petrol. The Hector facelift comes with a 2.0 liter Multijet diesel that generates 170 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque and comes with a 6-speed manual transmission option as standard. There is no automatic transmission option available. It is expected that MG will add an automatic transmission option later. However, its rival SUV comes with an automatic option, which is in high demand.
Powerful engine
Its diesel engine is considered very good and is more refined than other cars and it feels very quiet at low speeds. However, when more races are given, the sound of this diesel engine is heard. At low speeds in town, the Hector diesel is very easy to drive despite its large size and has light steering and light gear shift. In terms of mileage, the diesel Hector is much better than the petrol, giving a mileage between 13-14 kmpl and this is much better than the petrol. All other features are almost same as petrol model. It has a large new grille, which enhances its looks. In terms of comfort, you can’t get a better SUV at this price which includes a lot of features along with a large touchscreen on the back seat. The Hector diesel excels in all respects except the lack of automatic transmission. If you travel long distances frequently, the diesel Hector is a better option than its other rivals
