Writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla said that people do not have any problem with today’s rap songs, but they have a lot of problem with the dialogues written by them. Manoj said that people have no objection to rap songs like ‘Nanga Hi To Aaya Tha’ but have deep objection to dialogues like ‘Lanka Jala Denge’.

Obviously, Manoj Muntashir had to face a lot of criticism due to the dialogues of the film Adipurush. The film flopped miserably. Now Manoj has expressed his disappointment. Manoj said that he is not giving clarification on the dialogue written by him, but on one hand there was criticism about it and on the other hand rap songs like ‘Nanga Hi To Aaya Tha’ had received awards.

It still hurts Manoj not to get the award for his song ‘Teri Mitti’.
The song ‘Teri Mitti’ written by Manoj Muntashir Shukla did not get any awards, whereas the song ‘Apna Time Aayega’ from Zoya Akhtar’s film Gully Boy got many awards. Manoj Muntashir found this very bad. He decided that from now on he would not go to any award show.

Talking on this issue, Manoj told Lallantop – If you see the nominations of that year, there were many good songs, however, the award went to a song which did not deserve it at all.

Manoj Muntashir does not approve of rap songs
Manoj further said- Even today I do not recognize rap songs. Although I am not against them, I had heard some songs of Gully Boy. It wasn’t that he sounded bad. Although I regret that people do not have a problem with those rap songs, but with the dialogues written by me.

I think both are wrong. No one should use such words.

Manoj has accepted his mistake regarding Adipurush
Manoj Muntashir has admitted that writing Adipurush was his biggest mistake. In an old interview given to Aaj Tak, he said that he made 100% mistakes while writing Adipurush. Manoj said- There is no doubt that I have made a mistake. I am not such an insecure person that I will defend my mistake by saying that I have written well.

This is my mistake, but there was no bad intention behind this mistake. It was not my intention to hurt religion. I did not intentionally write wrongly about Lord Ram or Hanuman ji.

Adipurush is India’s most expensive film till date. The film took two years to make. The film’s release was also delayed due to changes in VFX. The budget of the film was initially said to be Rs 500 crore but its budget was slightly increased to make changes in the VFX of the film.

After changes in VFX, its total budget reached Rs 600 crore. Made with a budget of Rs 600 crore, this film earned Rs 286.37 crore in India. Of this, Rs 147.26 crore came from the Hindi version. The film had a worldwide collection of Rs 400 crore.
