Kangana Ranaut’s aerial action thriller Tejas released recently. The film had high expectations but it flopped badly at the box office and could not even collect Rs 10 crores. After the super flop of Tejas, Kangana has started working once again. Work on his next film has also started. On Saturday, the actress herself announced this on social media.
Film shooting started
Kangana announced on the microblogging site Twitter that she has started shooting for a film. Which is a thriller. However, Kangana has not revealed the title of her next film. Kangana posted a picture from the shoot and wrote, “Today in Chennai we started shooting for our new film, a thriller. Will bring the rest of the details soon. Currently, this very unusual and exciting script needs your support and blessings. Kangana also shared a picture from the Muharta shoot on her Instagram stories and sought everyone’s blessings.
Need love and blessings
With this he wrote, “We need everyone’s love and blessings for our new journey starting today with many of my favourites.” Kangana also revealed that she is doing a new film with director AL Vijay. He also shared his picture with the director. Along with this, R Madhavan shared his old picture and wrote that he is back. Earlier, Kangana and Madhavan were seen in ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. Kangana Ranaut was recently seen in ‘Tejas’. The actress played the role of Air Force pilot Tejas Gill in the film. However, the film turned out to be a huge flop at the box office.
Coming in emergency
Now Kangana will be seen in the political drama film ‘Emergency’. In this film, Kangana has played the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Apart from Kangana, many powerful stars like Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary and Shreyas Talpade have acted in ‘Emergency’. The film was initially slated to release this year but later its release was postponed. Now ‘Emergency’ will release in theaters next year i.e. 2024.
