Reliance Jio is working on a new cloud laptop. According to sources, the Jio Cloud Laptop may be brought to the domestic market at a price of less than Rs 15,000. As reported by Economic Times, “The laptop will act as a dumb terminal with all the storage and processing in the Jio Cloud, making all Jio services accessible to users faster.”
“You have a dumb terminal that you can use as a normal laptop,” a Jio official told the Economic Times. Apart from paying for all your memory, processing, etc. separately, you can store it all in this laptop wallet cloud. Multiple people can use this laptop with personalized service.”

1) At present one has to spend 50,000 rupees to buy a laptop. At that place you are getting Reliance Jio PC for less than Rs 15,000.
2) One of the most popular telecom operators in the country is talking to world famous laptop manufacturers like Acer, HP, Lenovo to make this laptop. A Jio official said that the laptop will be available in the country within a month.
3) Cloud PC has already been trialled on HP Chromebooks. It is going to be Jio’s second laptop. Incidentally, in July this year, the Mumbai-based telecom company launched the JioBook laptop, priced at Rs 16,499.
4) While the JioBook laptop runs on the JioOS operating system, the new device is reported to run on the Windows operating system.
5) The telecom giant will also reportedly launch a monthly subscription on top of this personal cloud computer. A number of features will be offered as part of that subscription. Those who want more specialized and additional features will have to purchase this laptop by spending a little more.
