Jharkhand News: Area Commander of CPI Maoist Naxalite organization Jitendra Nagesia surrendered in Latehar, Jharkhand. Jitendra is accused of being involved in about a dozen Naxalite incidents including killing three policemen and looting their weapons.
Jitendra laid down his arms in front of Latehar Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Mohan and Superintendent of Police Anjani Anjan. 41 year old Jitendra is a resident of Bhandaria police station area of Garhwa district. Presently he lived in Pipardhaba of Kusmi police station area of Chhattisgarh. He joined the Maoist organization in December 2018.
The Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police congratulated Jitendra Nagesia on coming into the mainstream of society by presenting him a bouquet and a shawl. The Deputy Commissioner said that all the benefits given by the government will be available under the surrender policy. The SP appealed to other militants to return to the mainstream of society under the government’s surrender policy.
