The manager of an engineering company was murdered in his house in Pakur, Jharkhand. The police solved the case within two hours and arrested the murder accused. The accused used to work as a cook in the company itself.
A Pakur police official said, on Friday morning, information was received that the blood-soaked body of Mohan Lalwani, manager of Chhabria Engineering Company, was lying in his residence in Sindhipada area of the city police station area. Police and forensic team investigated the incident site. A rod was found lying on the spot. It is being told that he was hit on the head with this. Moti Mandal, who worked as a cook in the residence, informed about the incident. He had told that he had prepared dinner for Mohan Lalwani and went to sleep at around 9:30. When Lalwani reached the kitchen to make tea in the morning, he found her lying on the floor soaked in blood. The kitchen door was also open.
When the police strictly interrogated Cook on the basis of suspicion, he confessed that he had killed Lalwani by hitting her on the head with a rod. Cook Moti Mandal told that Lalwani often scolded him. Angered by this, he murdered him. Mohan Lalwani was a resident of Kanpur and was working here for the last six years. Police have sent the body for post-mortem. The arrested cook is being sent to jail
