During the Israeli attack, all the patients admitted to the ICU of Al Shifa, Gaza’s largest hospital, have died. 22 patients were admitted in ICU. The administration said that 55 people died in the hospital in three days. According to hospital director Muhammad Abu Salmiya, more than seven thousand people are still trapped in Al Shifa Hospital.
This includes patients, medical staff and many people living in shelter homes. The Israeli army has claimed that there is a tunnel inside Al Shifa Hospital. That’s why the Israeli army is targeting this hospital. The Israeli army has taken action here for several days. The Israeli army claims that Al Shifa Hospital is a base of Hamas.
The Israeli military claims to have found a large cache of weapons as well as a Hamas pickup truck at Al Shifa hospital. The army also claimed that Hamas had hidden AK-47s, RPGs, grenades and other weapons in the hospital. However, questions are being raised on this claim of the army. Hamas also claims that it has hidden Israeli hostages there.
