Haridwar: Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Garbyal, a meeting was held on Saturday in the Vikas Bhawan auditorium regarding the preparation of the outline for the inauguration and foundation stone laying program of various development schemes of the district to be organized by the Chief Minister on November 30, 2023.
In the meeting, Chief Development Officer Shri Prateek Jain, while giving detailed information regarding the inauguration of various development schemes and the outline of the foundation stone laying program etc., said that in the program organized by the Chief Minister on November 30, 2023 in Nainital district, the inauguration of schemes of various districts and Along with the foundation stone laying, 73 schemes of 12 departments of Haridwar district, in which the inauguration of schemes costing Rs 387 crore and the foundation stone of schemes costing Rs 590 crore will be done through virtual medium and the inauguration and foundation stone of these schemes will be done physically in the district. Will be done by the MP/Minister in charge.
The District Magistrate instructed the officials in the meeting to give a grand look to the inauguration and foundation stone laying program. He said that for this, multi-purpose camps should be organized, stalls of major departments should be set up, beneficiaries of various schemes should be honoured, major departments like Public Works, Drinking Water Corporation, Jal Sansthan etc. will provide support in this and the e-District Manager will be in collaboration with the Chief Minister. Will make complete arrangements for live telecast of the program.
