Shamli. In the district, an incident of car, cash and mobile robbery was carried out by three unknown fearless miscreants on the Meerut Karnal road. As soon as the information about the robbery was received, there was a stir in the police department and senior police officers along with the police forces of many police stations reached the spot. Reached where the police is investigating the incident. There is an atmosphere of panic among the people due to the robbery on the highway.

Let us tell you that the whole matter is near village Barlajat situated on Meerut Karnal road of Sadar Kotwali area. Where there was chaos as soon as it was evening. When three unknown miscreants looted Eeco car, cash worth two and a half thousand rupees and mobile phone from a car driver. It is being told that the car driver Dharmendra is a resident of Haryana state, who had come from Sindhu Border of Delhi on Saturday to drop three people to Shamli. As soon as the car reached near village Ramala in Baghpat district, the driver stopped for a moment’s notice.

Where one of the miscreants expressed his desire to drive the car. After which the car driver sat behind and started drinking along with two other miscreants. During the traffic jam, as soon as the car reached Barlajat village in Shamli district, the miscreants took advantage of the driver being under the influence of alcohol and pushed the car driver on the road and the miscreants took away his car from the driver. They looted the mobile phone and cash worth Rs 2,500 and ran away after throwing the victim’s car driver on the roadside. After the miscreants fled, the victim fell on the road and with the help of passers-by informed the police.

There was a stir in the police department as soon as the robbery incident on the highway came to light. After which police and SOG team reached Kairana Kotwali, Kandhla Police Station and Shamli Kotwali. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, ASP also immediately reached the spot. The police combed here and there for hours in search of the miscreants but did not get any success. The ASP has given instructions to the police team to arrest the miscreants as soon as possible. There is an atmosphere of panic among the pedestrians due to the robbery that took place on the highway in the evening.
