After 12th you can do UG, PG, PhD, Diploma Certificate. This can be for a period of 1 to 5 years. UG course means Bachelor of Homeopathy Medicine and Surgery (BMHS) degree course.
For BHMS course, minimum 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects in 12th, 45 percent marks for reserved category. To get admission in this course, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is required.
After completing the course, one should practice in a government or private institute. You can also open your own clinic. Homeopathy was discovered by German physician Samuel Hahnemann in 1796. It started in India from the 19th century.
