Varanasi. Special prayers and aarti were performed for the victory of Team India in the world famous Aarti of Mother Ganga to be held at Dashashwamedh Ghat by Ganga Seva Nidhi. During this time, a large number of devotees also came to watch the Aarti with the pictures of the players, chanting Bharat Mata.

Aarti of Mother Ganga was performed by 7 Archakas. During this, 2100 lamps were lit at the ghat and prayers were offered for the victory of the Indian team.

On this occasion, thousands of devotees including Ganga Seva Nidhi President Sushant Mishra, Treasurer Ashish Tiwari, Secretary Hanuman Yadav were present.
