The Railway Board has approved the proposal of Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh for the extension of Vande Bharat train to Chandigarh. It will take only three hours for passengers to reach Chandigarh from Rewari. Vande Bharat Train between Delhi and Ajmer was not stopped here in the initial phase from 12th April. Due to which the passengers were quite disappointed. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has approved the stoppage of Vande Bharat train at Rewari after efforts made by Rao Inderjit Singh. Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, Rao Inderjit Singh had placed before the Railway Board the demand for extension of Vande Bharat train from Rewari to Chandigarh, which has been approved by the Railway Board.
Passengers’ time will be saved
The operation of Vande Bharat train from Rewari to Chandigarh will provide a lot of convenience to the passengers. Passengers of Rewari and Gurugram had been demanding for a long time for direct connection to Chandigarh. This decision has been taken by Indian Railways keeping in mind the demand of passengers. Earlier it used to take 5 to 7 hours for the passengers to reach Chandigarh, but now the passengers will reach Chandigarh in just 3 hours.
