View after rain in Dubai

The glittering streets of Dubai are currently submerged. It seems as if rivers are flowing on the roads. Water is flowing above the knees. All this happened due to sudden change in weather in Dubai. Due to change in weather, it rained so much that gleaming roads and basements of high-rise buildings were submerged. Dubai administration has forbidden people from going to the beach. At some places, the rain became so heavy that even the cars parked on the road seemed almost completely submerged.

Due to bad weather, people have been advised to stay indoors. Due to heavy rains and storms, air flights along with traffic have been affected in the UAE. In the alert sent by Dubai Police, people have been appealed to stay away from flood prone areas and be careful while driving.

UAE’s National Meteorological Center has issued yellow and orange alerts for many areas amid storm and rain. Many pictures and videos of heavy rain and flood in Dubai are also going viral. Many people have also shared videos of floods and roads filled with water on social media platform X. In one video, a man is seen driving a small boat on a submerged road.

As soon as the weather worsens and floods occur, Dubai Police takes control of the road. On the other hand, Dubai Municipality has also become active and is making efforts to drain the waterlogging. In view of the heavy rains, the United Arab Emirates has urged the private sector to allow their employees to work from home.
