Pune. Former CM Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aditya Thackeray and his group leaders Sunil Shinde and Sachin Ahir seem to be in trouble regarding the inauguration of Delia Road Bridge Lane. A case has been registered against the three leaders under sections 143, 149, 326 and 447 of the IPC at NM Joshi Police Station in Mumbai. Mumbai Municipal Corporation officials have declared it illegal to inaugurate in this manner.
In fact, Worli MLA Aditya Thackeray, former MLA Sachin Ahir, Sunil Shinde, former Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar and Snehal Ambekar had officially opened the Delia Bridge of Lower Parel late on Thursday night. These leaders say that people were facing problems and hence the bridge was opened for the people.
However, NOC for the inauguration of this almost ready bridge has not been received and the inauguration is yet to take place. Now an FIR has been registered against Aditya Thackeray and other leaders in the case of forcibly opening the bridge.

In this matter, Mumbai Municipal Corporation officials say that it is illegal to inaugurate in this manner. Even before the proposed inauguration of the Municipal Corporation, Aditya Thackeray inaugurated this bridge and started traffic on it. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) spokesperson Kiran Pawaskar said that Shiv Sena (UBT) is only trying to take credit and says that they made efforts to complete these projects. When they were in power, they sat at home and no work could be done by sitting at home.
Pawaskar said that we were told that some work is left in the final phase, hence it was not opened. These are not political but technical and engineering decisions and opening them prematurely can put people’s lives at risk.
