Saharanpur. Muslim women should avoid going to beauty parlors where men work. It is illegal to go there and get makeup done. This is what Mufti Asad Qasmi of Deoband has to say. He says that Muslim women can go to parlors where girls work.

Maulana Mufti Asad Qasmi, head of Madrasa Jamia Shaikhul Hind, says that Muslim women should never go to beauty parlors where men do makeup. Going to such beauty parlors is illegitimate and haram for women.

He said that makeup can be done by going to those beauty parlors where girls work. There is no prohibition for this. Because it leads to promiscuity and there is no permission for it in Islam. Therefore, Muslim women should avoid going to such places where men work.
