The councilors told that 630 pieces of street lights were purchased by the municipality and 400 pieces of 45 watt were purchased for Rs 5829. Whereas according to the quotation, the price of each LED is Rs 1250 and 230 pieces were purchased for Rs 6855. Have gone.
Whose price in the market is Rs 1900, that too with GST. According to which, a scam of about Rs 39 lakh has been committed in the purchase of street lights. Regarding which a complaint has been made to the District Officer on Saturday. The councilors have demanded from the District Officer to investigate the said scam and take appropriate action. On the other hand, DM Ravindra Kumar has handed over the investigation to the Tehsildar. And action will be taken in this matter soon.
