Taking action on Saturday, the Jaipur Nagar Third Team of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Headquarters arrested Ward Councilor of Ward No. 33 of Municipal Corporation Heritage, Enforcement Branch Sub Inspector and Constable of Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage while taking a bribe amount of eighty thousand rupees from the complainant. Additional Director General of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Hemant Priyadarshi, said that the complainant complained to the Jaipur Nagar Third Team of ACB that in lieu of allowing the work of his under-construction house to proceed uninterrupted, Umesh Sharma, Ward Councilor of Ward No. 33 of Municipal Corporation Heritage, Enforcement Branch sub-inspector Anil Singh and constable Bhavani Singh are demanding a bribe amount of Rs 1 lakh.
After verifying the complaint under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Himanshu of ACB Jaipur Nagar Third Team, taking action of trap, Constable Bhavani Singh of Enforcement Branch of Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage was arrested while taking a bribe amount of eighty thousand rupees. Ward councilor of Ward No. 33 of Municipal Corporation Heritage, Umesh Sharma and Enforcement Branch Sub-Inspector of Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage, Anil Singh have also been arrested on the basis of their involvement in the case.
