Kharna Prasad is made on a pure and new stove. Although Prasad should be prepared on an earthen stove, people living in cities can also use gas. Provided that the gas or stove is clean and new. To make Kheer Prasad to be offered in the worship of Kharna, first heat the milk. Now add about a glass of water to it. While it is still lukewarm, clean the rice thoroughly with water. Now put this rice in milk and mix it well.
Let the milk rice cook well on low flame. Keep stirring the ladle in between. Let the rice cook thoroughly. When the rice is cooked well, remove it from the gas or stove and keep it aside. Then after it cools down, break the jaggery into it and add it to the kheer and mix it well with the help of a ladle and spoon. Now your Kharna Prasad is ready. After the worship and offering of Kharna, distribute the Prasad among friends and family.
