Begusarai, 18 November (HS). The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has opposed sending teachers selected by Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) to other districts for training during Chhath. State convenor of BJP media cell, MLA Kundan Kumar has called it an attack on faith.
Begusarai MLA Kundan Kumar said today that on the great festival of folk faith, Chhath, people of Bihar come to their homes from every corner of the country. He worships God with complete devotion along with his family members. On the other hand, it is wrong to send newly appointed teachers away from their homes in the name of training on the day of Chhath.
He said that this is indicative of the anti-religious policy of the Bihar government. The government is playing with Sanatani faith by issuing Tughlaqi decree. The government is attacking the relevance of Chhath festival. When policy makers go astray and start imposing their appeasement mentality on the common people on the basis of religion.
Kundan Kumar said that such situations arise due to the misguidance of the policy makers. The Bihar government is trying to hurt the religious sentiments of Sanatani religion followers on all such occasions including the holy occasion of Mahaparva Chhath. The answer to this Hitlerism of Nitish Kumar’s government will come from the people of Bihar.
