Amroha. The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has given a gift to the Indian cricket team’s ace bowler Mohammed Shami just before the final match of the World Cup. Yogi government is going to build a mini stadium in the village of Shami, who took 7 wickets alone in the semi-final match against New Zealand.
Mohammed Shami is originally from Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. According to Amroha District Magistrate Rajesh Tyagi, the UP government has decided to build a mini stadium and an open gym in Shami’s village Sahaspur Alinagar. On Friday, the Chief Development Officer of the district along with his team reached Shami’s village and surveyed the land for the stadium.
According to the UP government, there are preparations to build a stadium on about one hectare of land in Sahaspur Alinagar. This stadium will have facilities for different types of sports. There will also be arrangements for coaching. According to the government, this will not only give the players of this district an opportunity to showcase their talent at the national level, players from nearby districts will also be able to take advantage of it.
