China’s newspaper People’s Daily said about the meeting with America that this is the beginning of a new relationship developing between the two countries. The newspaper said, ‘The meeting between the leaders of the two countries was positive. This meeting is a new step towards strengthening the relations between China and America. The newspaper also published those things which are not usually seen in Chinese media. The newspaper has written that Xi Jinping and Joe Biden went to Filoli Estate in San Francisco in the same car.
China’s government agency Xinhua has published an article on Xi Jinping’s ‘love for America’, in which it has even called the Chinese President a friend of America. Xinhua’s website is full of news about the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) conference. A report has been written on the website titled ‘Xi Jinping proposed for the next 30 golden years in Asia-Pacific economic cooperation’.
What issues were agreed upon during the US-China meeting?
The top leaders of America and China have decided to once again resume the stalled military dialogue during the meeting. Both have expressed their commitment to tackle climate change. Apart from this, they agreed to increase cooperation to crack down on fentanyl drug smuggling.
