On the pretext of building a colony in Rohta, Sadar of Agra, property dealers got the deed of the plot done. After 13 years, when the buyer came to get construction done on the plot, the real owner of the land came. Then they came to know of the fraud. In this case, the victim woman has filed a case against four accused. These also include Cantonment Board employees.

Sharda Sharma, resident of Sheetal Dham Colony, Kahrai Mod, filed the case. In this, Brijmohan Bindal, resident of Old Mandi, Banwari Lal Katara, resident of Gangotri Vihar, Satyaprakash alias Satto Lala, resident of New Gopalpura and Vijayalakshmi, resident of Old Mandi were named. He told the police that the accused told about cutting a colony in Rohta in the year 2010 by the name of Kusum Vihar Phase-3.

Said that he will give a plot of 150 square yards for five lakh rupees. After seeing a plot, he paid Rs 51,000 for booking. Next day, Vijayalakshmi filed the deed in the tehsil. In March 2023, he went to get construction done on the plot. Then it was revealed that the plot had been sold by showing a fake map. When the accused were asked for money, they refused to give it. Threatened to kill.

ACP Sadar Archana Singh says that a case has been registered in the matter under sections like fraud, breach of trust, preparing forged documents, abusing, threatening to kill etc. Action will be taken after investigation.
