Agra’s Etmaddaula police on Thursday arrested two youths who stole mobile phones. Both of them used to steal to fulfill their hobbies. Recovered 10 mobile phones and one bike from them. He had stolen 5 of these mobiles on the day of Bhai Dooj.
ACP Chhatta Rakesh Singh said that on November 15, a youth had lodged a complaint at the police station. He was taking his sister to get tested. Taking advantage of the crowd at Rambagh intersection, someone stole sister’s mobile.
On Thursday, the police arrested Asif, resident of Kashmiri Gate, Ramgarh police station, Firozabad, and Rahul, resident of Bari Ka Nagla, Rasoolpur police station, from the service road near Rambagh intersection. There are 12 cases registered against Asif and four cases against Rahul.
During interrogation, he told that they used to steal people’s mobile phones by taking advantage of the crowd. Changed location every day. They would commit crimes in different cities. On the day of Bhai Dooj, 5 mobile phones were stolen at Rambagh intersection. They used to sell them cheaply to passers-by on the pretext of causing trouble. He used to fulfill his hobbies with the money he got.
