The final countdown for the final match of World Cup Cricket has started. On Sunday i.e. 19th November, there will be a title clash between India and Australia at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. More than one lakh people are likely to be present in the stadium during the match. Keeping this in view, a lot of preparation has been done.
Railway’s gift for those coming to watch the World Cup final
In view of the extra crowd of cricket fans coming to watch the World Cup final cricket match, Railways has decided to run additional trains. For the match, three pairs of superfast special trains will be run on special fare between Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad, Bandra Terminus-Ahmedabad and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT)-Ahmedabad.
The details of special trains running for the World Cup final match are as follows:-
Train No. 09001/09002 Bandra Terminus-Ahmedabad-Bandra Terminus Superfast Special: Train No. 09001 Bandra Terminus-Ahmedabad Special will depart from Bandra Terminus at 2345 hrs on Saturday, 18 November and will reach Ahmedabad at 0720 hrs the next day.
Similarly, Train No. 09002 Ahmedabad-Bandra Terminus Special will depart from Ahmedabad at 0400 hrs on Monday, November 20 and will reach Bandra Terminus at 1210 hrs on the same day. This train stops at Dadar, Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat and Vadodara Junction in both directions. Will stop at stations. This train will have AC I-tier, AC 2-tier, sleeper class and second class general coaches.
Train No. 09049/09050 Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Superfast Special: Train No. 09049 Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Special will depart from Mumbai Central at 2355 hrs on Saturday, 18th November and reach Ahmedabad at 0845 hrs the next day.
Train No. 09050 Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Special will depart from Ahmedabad at 0620 hrs on Monday 20th November and reach Mumbai Central at 1410 hrs on the same day. This train reaches Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch and Vadodara Junction in both directions. Will stop at stations. This train will have AC I-tier, AC 2-tier, AC economic, sleeper class and second class general coaches.
Train No. 01153/01154 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (Mumbai)-Ahmedabad Superfast Special:
Train No. 01153 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) – Ahmedabad Special will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 2230 hrs on Saturday, 18th November and reach Ahmedabad at 0640 hrs the next day.
Similarly, Train No. 01154 Ahmedabad – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) special will depart from Ahmedabad at 0145 hrs on Monday, 20th November and will reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 1035 hrs on the same day.
This train runs in both directions at Dadar (Central), Thane, Kaman Road, Vasai Road, Surat and Vadodara Jn. Will stop at stations. This train will have AC I-tier, AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier and second class general coaches.
Booking for train numbers 09001,09002,09049,09050 and 01154 will start from November 18 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website. The above train will run as a special train on special fare.
