New-Gen Maruti Dzire
Maruti Suzuki is set to unveil the next generation of its popular Dzire compact sedan, anticipated to grace the roads between April and May of 2024. The new model will embrace a comprehensive overhaul, both in its exterior and interior. Under the hood, it will boast a 1.2L, 3-cylinder petrol engine, potentially enhanced by strong hybrid technology. Speculations suggest an impressive mileage ranging between 35kmpl and 40kmpl, positioning the new Dzire as a frontrunner for India’s most fuel-efficient car. Noteworthy is the parallel implementation of the same powertrain in the forthcoming new-generation Swift, scheduled for release in February 2024. Inside the cabin, there will be an advanced SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system, featuring wireless smartphone connectivity, Suzuki voice assist, and Over-the-Air (OTA) capabilities
Hyundai Verna N Line
Hyundai, on the other hand, is rumored to introduce the Verna N Line in 2024, although an official launch timeline is yet to be confirmed. Spy shots of a camouflaged test mule have already surfaced, building anticipation for this sportier rendition of the Verna. The N Line variant is anticipated to showcase distinctive features such as red brake calipers and alloy wheels reminiscent of the SX (O) trim. Externally, the sedan will exhibit a sporty aesthetic, characterized by a modified grille inspired by the ‘chequered flag’ design, a uniquely styled bumper with red accents, the N Line emblem, twin exhaust pipes, and a pronounced diffuser. This sporty theme is expected to extend into the cabin, promising an immersive driving experience.
New-Gen Honda Amaze
Honda, not to be outdone, is preparing to unveil the next generation of its acclaimed Amaze subcompact sedan. Drawing design inspiration from the contemporary lines of the new City and Accord models, the 2024 Amaze is set to share its platform with the recently launched Honda Elevate mid-size SUV. Reflecting the growing popularity of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Honda is poised to incorporate its Honda Sensing Suite into the third-generation Amaze, ensuring enhanced safety features. Internally, the sedan will boast a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, incorporating the latest smartphone connectivity options and featuring a refreshed interior layout. Powering the 2024 Honda Amaze will be the familiar 1.2L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering power worth 90bhp and 110Nm of torque
