New Delhi . Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, which started with a grand start, reached more than one lakh people in 259 gram panchayats across the country on its first day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off this campaign from Khunti, Jharkhand on November 15, 2023. Under this, vans were dispatched simultaneously from various places with significant tribal population across the country. The first day of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra saw a dynamic mix of events and initiatives weaving together stories of empowerment and collective belonging towards a shared vision of national development. The objective of this yatra is to spread awareness about the welfare schemes and policies of the Central Government and to achieve 100% completion of major government schemes. Keeping this objective in mind, more than 21000 people registered for PM Ujjwala Yojana on the very first day of the yatra. During this period, along with the registration of more than 1200 Mai Bharat volunteers, more than 80,000 people took the pledge of a developed India
