Ways and benefits of applying lentils on the skin

Lentils for dry skin: Masoor dal face pack is very beneficial for dry skin. Soak 2 teaspoons of lentils in milk overnight. Make a thick paste of it in the morning. Apply it on face and neck. Keep it for 20 minutes and wash off after drying

use as a scrubbing agent Lentils are considered to be the best scrubbing agent for the skin. Mix 2 tbsp of ground lentils with 1 tbsp of raw milk and 1 tbsp of ground oats. Then apply this mixture on the face and rub it with light hands and wash the face with clean water.

Use for hair removal: Masoor dal face pack helps in lightening the skin tone and getting rid of fine facial hair. Using orange peel in this pack gives a glow to the skin. Soak 100 grams of lentils, 50 grams of sandalwood powder and orange peel powder in milk overnight. Grind all the ingredients together to make a fine, thick and smooth paste. Apply a layer of this paste on your face. Keep it on the face for 15-20 minutes and after drying gently wipe off the dry layer in circular motion. Use olive oil to rub it. Finally wash off with cold water.

Hydrate the skin: The moisturizing properties of lentils and honey can help keep the skin hydrated. Mix the powder of lentils with honey and apply it on the face and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash it thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Use as an anti-aging agent: With long lasting effects, the sun’s rays are very damaging to the skin. To avoid this, the face pack of lentils helps a lot. The nutrients present in lentils can slow down the aging process, making it act as an antiaging agent.
