Her earlier name was Rinku Malhotra. Then Ustad Bhupinder Singh Bijli named him Rinku Shah Deewana. At the age of 4, he took Bhupinder Singh Bijli as his teacher. With the blessings and support of father Pyara Lal and mother Sheela Devi, she started singing lessons. On August 15, January 26 and on the occasion of Dussehra, he kept getting opportunities to sing songs and then people started showering him with love. After this, he also got the opportunity to participate in cultural programs and received many honors.
In 1995, on the occasion of Dussehra, two songs Rinku Shah Deewana were sung by singer Sabar Koti in front of the arena, on this occasion the portrait of Baba Balak Nath given by the then SHO Dilbag Singh was given the first honor. In 1999, DRC company released a cassette of two of his songs, which was well received at that time. Gradually Ustad Bhupinder Singh started working with the Sargam Orchestra musical group formed by him. The honor given by the organizers after the Qawwali program at Kiratpur Sahib in 2009 was a great honor for him as Rinku Shah Deewana’s father Pyara Lal was also honored at that time. He continued to grow with his father and teacher Bhupinder Singh.
He has sung songs written by Sufi Kalam and writers including Ustad Shayar Charan Singh Safari, Sukhjit Jhansawala, Nirdhan Kartarpuri, Shiv Kumar Batalvi and Bulleh Shah’s Sufi Kalam etc. His father worked as a cleaner in a bank. The expenses of the house were going on but after the death of father Pyare Lal in 2010, Rinku Shah became crazy again and left singing to meet the expenses of the house and started playing instruments in Jagrats.
