He also said that Shah Rukh Khan is also an outsider, but today the real insiders of the industry want to appear with him on screen. Manoj Bajpayee said, ‘Look, Shah Rukh Khan has embraced the industry and this was his journey. When people consider me an outsider, I take it as an honour. If seen, Shah Rukh Khan is also an outsider. He has carved a niche for himself in the industry and he has done it in a good way. Real insiders of Bollywood want to appear with him, but I have never wanted this for myself.

Apart from this, Manoj Bajpayee said, ‘He (Shahrukh Khan) is good looking. He always looked good. He has a chocolaty face and is very attractive. Even earlier everyone used to tell me that I am talented, but they only used to hang out with him. You know Shahrukh Khan and Manoj Bajpayee know each other from the days of theatre. Both the stars have also worked together in the film Veer Zara.
