Meerut. Police station Parikshitgarh today arrested one accused along with three small elephants. According to the information, during checking by police station Parikshitgarh, on the information of the informer, the accused Rohit son of Bali resident of village Agwanpur police station Parikshitgarh district Meerut was arrested. From whose possession three four wheeler small elephant (Bulbul) were recovered. Three accomplices of the arrested accused Imran s/o Ikram resident Shahjahanpur police station Kithore district Meerut, Kanti (financier) s/o Namaloom resident unknown, one person name address unknown are absconding.
The stolen vehicles by the accused scratch their engine number, chassis number and adopt fake numbers. Two of them were driving a small elephant (Bulbul) with number plate UP 15 BT 6434. Number plate UP 15 ET 4554 is being run on the third vehicle. They work to sell the stolen vehicles at a huge price when they find the right customers. Till the time the vehicle is not sold, they do the work of running it on rent. The recovered vehicle has been reported to be stolen from other districts.
Straw is loaded on one of the recovered vehicles and the remaining two vehicles are empty. Accused Rohit mentioned above is being arrested and produced before the court. In relation to which FIR 159/2023 Section 420/467/468/471/411 Bhadvi has been registered at Police Station Parikshitgarh Meerut.
