Jansath (Muzaffarnagar). Javed alias Bhura of village Garhi was murdered by his friend who had an immoral relationship with his wife. Disclosing the murder, the police arrested the accused friend and sent him to jail. The remaining two named accused were let off.
Kotwali in-charge said that 30-year-old Javed alias Bhura, a resident of Gadhi village, used to work at a brick kiln located on the way to Tisang. Javed had gone missing from home on Sunday. His body was found lying in the sugarcane field of farmer Mamchand on Tuesday. In the police investigation, Javed was murdered by slitting his throat. Also, to erase his identity, his face was burnt with acid.
Reshma, the wife of the deceased, had filed a complaint in the police station alleging that on Sunday, for demanding money, she strangled her husband to death and burnt his face with acid to erase his identity. The police had registered a case against all of them. Police said that Abid used to work as a laborer at the brick kiln along with Javed. These two were friends. Abid had an intimate relationship with Javed’s wife. Due to this, Abid had killed his friend Javed. The police have sent the named accused Abid to jail.
