Shamli. A girl resident of Bahawadi village of Kotwali area of the city was abducted by a youth resident of Tevra Gadhi village. The girl has also taken away cash worth Rs 2.5 lakh and gold and silver jewelery worth Rs 2 lakh kept in the house with her. On the complaint of the father, the police have registered a case and started searching for the girl.
A person resident of Bahawadi village of City Kotwali area has reported in Shamli Kotwali that his daughter’s age is 19 years. Amardeep’s son Harikishan, a youth resident of village Tevra Gadhi police station Doghat, has taken his daughter away by seducing her. The youth’s brother Ajit, sister Ruby, and father Harikishan are also involved in taking the daughter.
It is alleged that during the house construction work, along with cash worth Rs 2.5 lakh, gold and silver jewelery worth about Rs 2 lakh was also stolen and taken away with them. On the complaint of the victim’s father, the police have registered a case and started the proceedings.
