Lucknow. The government has announced a reward of five lakh rupees on the arrest of Badan Singh Baddo, a mafia of Meerut, UP. The Director General of Police Headquarters had recommended increasing the reward amount from Rs 2.50 lakh to Rs 5 lakh against Baddo. Principal Secretary Home Sanjay Prasad has issued a mandate to increase the prize money.
According to the information received from the police, more than forty cases have been registered against the mafia Badan Singh of Western UP in other serious sections including murder. He escaped from police custody on March 28, 2019, after which he is being continuously searched. However, till now the police have not been able to find any clue of this infamous. The DGP Headquarters had declared a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh on Badan Singh.

The Home Department has issued a mandate to increase the reward amount on Badan Singh, a resident of Meerut. Badan Singh’s name is included in the list of listed mafia of the state.
Badan Singh Baddo, a resident of Tipinagar, Meerut, is absconding for the last four years. He had absconded on March 28, 2019 after giving drugs to Meerut policemen. According to police sources, he has taken shelter in countries of Australia and Europe. The police have confiscated his properties worth more than ten crores so far. There is a preparation to issue a red corner notice against him soon. Please inform that STF had traced the location of Badan Singh Baddo in January. Then his Instagram location was coming from France. Even in July, the location of Badan Singh Baddo’s Instagram has come to Netherlands and Australia. Badan Singh Baddo is absconding since 4 years. The police have also attached his property.
The bulldozer was fired at his house. Even after that, the police have not been able to catch Badan Singh yet. But the Instagram and Facebook account of Badan Singh Baddo remains active continuously.
