The Indian team has to participate in the World Cup as well as the Asia Cup this year, for which a new coach will be selected. Here the talk is not of the Indian men’s team but of the Indian women’s team, for which the new coach can be selected soon.

The coach of the Indian women’s cricket team may soon be selected by the BCCI, for which the name of former Mumbai coach Amol Majumdar is included in the list at number one. He has also applied for the post, which has not been selected for the post of coach since December 2022, when the decision was taken to shift Ramesh Powar to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. BCCI is seeking applications for this post, due to which the name of Amol Majumdar is appearing at the top.

Amol Majumdar has also been the former captain of Mumbai. Along with this, he has also participated in the IPL team Rajasthan Royals. Not only this but he has also given coaching to the National Cricket Academy. Along with this, he was also appointed as Mumbai’s coach two seasons ago, and he won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy to Mumbai during his tenure.
