An updated statement issued by Mahindra & Mahindra this morning said that investigators have registered a report of tampering with the original wiring of the SUV. Apart from this, many parts were also changed again. The car caught fire with these words, after which the company constituted a committee to investigate, now the report has been issued. The company has informed the owner of the XUV700 about this report via email.
Let us tell you that the owner of the SUV was going with his family on the Jaipur Highway on Sunday when the accident happened. The customer also bought the same 6 months back. According to the owner, despite the SUV dying, smoke started coming out of the engine and it caught fire while moving.
