Meerut. Today on Saturday, a soldier died during treatment in the hospital. The constable had consumed poisonous substance on Friday. After which he was admitted to the hospital.
There has been uproar in the family due to the death of a constable posted in PAC 44th Corps of Kharkhoda police station area. The constable was originally a resident of village Bakar in Bhopa police station area of Muzaffarnagar. It was told that the relatives were informed by the department on Friday itself. Whereas today i.e. on Saturday, after the post-mortem, the dead body was handed over to the relatives, after which the relatives took it with them.
According to Kharkhoda police station in-charge Inspector Rajeev Kumar, Kashiram’s son Malkhan Singh was admitted to the police department in 2021. At present, he was posted as a constable in PAC 44th Corps in Bijli Bamba Chowki area.
Information was received from the PAC control room on Friday evening that the constable had consumed poisonous substance in his barrack. Police reached the spot and admitted the constable to a private hospital in Meerut in critical condition. On the other hand, the constable died during treatment on Saturday.
