A big accident took place in Bangladesh today. 16 people died when a bus full of passengers fell into a gorge. 30 people were injured in this terrible accident and they have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The death toll is likely to rise as the condition of some of the injured is critical. The incident took place in South Madaripur district, 63 km from the capital Dhaka, in the morning.
According to reports, the Emad Paribhan bus, which was leaving from Dhaka, fell into a gorge near Padma bridge in Qutubpur area of Madaripur on Sunday morning. 16 people died and 30 were injured in this accident. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the fire brigade, police and local people reached the spot and started the rescue work. Highway police station officer Abu Naeem Mohammad Mofzel Haque said that the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital.
